The Sealy Christian Pantry was blessed by a food drive by Ryan Ford – FILL THE TRUCK! Their generous donation of food and water was almost 1000 pounds! The timing could not be better as the struggles for those suffering from food insecurity get more difficult every day. The Sealy Christian Pantry was blessed by another Eagle Scout Project this summer. Cole Hallmark, along with his fellow scouts, renewed our storage container at the Pantry. What started as a black (sun absorbing unit) has turned into something more energy efficient, something now protected with a roof, and a new look with the paint job done by the boys! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Thanks also goes out to the following families — as this is an all hands on deck — and everyone pitches in: The Hallmarks, Bryants, Ellis, Eschenbergs, Wolfes, and of course — THANK YOU CHARLIE RIBARDO (Scout Master). The Pantry is so blessed by the continued support of our local Boy Scouts. These young men have not only done projects, but a lot of them have volunteered at the Pantry and helped serve the hungry of our area. We thank God for always providing those that are compassionate about sharing their TIME, TALENT, AND TREASURES! Thanks so much!!

Sue Kristynik was honored to attend the 2026 Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony on behalf of the Sealy Christian Pantry. Those two young men that achieved the honor, have also been volunteers at the Pantry since 2020, working our produce trucks during the pandemic and serving on distribution days during the summer.
Noah’s Eagle Scout Project was the beautification of the landscaping when we moved in to our new site. Noah, along with fellow Boy Scouts, his parents, and Scout Master Charlie Ribardo, planted roses, hauled dirt, picked up debris, and so much more! As those knockout roses still bloom at the Pantry, I am reminded of just how blessed we are to have such awesome youth in our community, giving of their time, talents and treasures to help those in need. And just like those roses bloom and flourish, so do these youth as they continue their journey of life!

The Sealy Knights of Columbus 3313 Grilled Pork Steak Fundraiser on April 19 benefiting the Sealy Christian Pantry was a sold-out success. A check presentation was made to the Sealy Christian Pantry on Wednesday, May 20, in the amount of $1,702. Additionally, the Pantry volunteers provided and sold pastries at the drive-thru event raising another $600 in proceeds to the Pantry.
A big THANK YOU to our community for supporting this fundraiser enabling this donation to be made to the Pantry.

The KCs have been supporters of the Pantry since we were at Ward Street over 30 years ago! Several representatives of their organization were able to visit our new pantry and hear how we are making a difference in the lives of those in need.

The Sealy Christian Pantry was blessed to receive generous donations from the John and Maggie Selman Trust and the Abe and Irene Levine Trust.
Both of these foundations have supported the Pantry for many years now, with significant donations made to help with constructing our new Pantry that is located at 412 Old San Felipe Road. Words can’t express how much it means when COMMUNITY HELPS COMMUNITY!
The investments made in our Pantry will help provide supplemental food to the food insecure in Austin County and beyond. Our mission is to demonstrate Christian love, while providing food to people in need.
